We always appreciate hearing from our valuable pet parents!

I would absolutely use this office again if I needed to. The moment I called the office, I was pleased. I called at 4 a.m. as my cat Cookie had been straining to use the litter box along with peeing a small blood clot (immediate panic). I called and the lady on the phone was already reassuring me that my cat was going to be in good hands; she was very calm and kind to me in a very panicked, scattered state. Upon arrival, we waited 15-20 minutes, then were called back. The vet tech was so calm and attentive; she was so, so sweet to Cookie and gentle with her. I was not rushed while explaining in detail what I had noticed going on with Cookie, even though she apologized for the wait since they only had one doctor on at the time — which really meant a lot to me. The vet came in to hear what was going on and listen, and explained my treatment options along with the cost of each one. The tech came back in to get Cookie for an ultrasound, and the way she so sweetly and gently picked her up really showed her compassion. I was very happy and satisfied leaving there. I felt the cost of the visit was very reasonable for an ER vet. They took care of my cat and put me at ease, being so kind to the both of us. Then today, two days later, I received a call from them checking on Cookie, making sure she was doing okay with everything, which made me even happier with my experience. Through and through, I was satisfied with my experience - all of the staff was very pleasant!

Our lab had a severe medical emergency late Thursday evening. We called on the way and were promptly helped. I carried our boy in and they were ready for him. They took him from me and immediately started procedures and saved his life. I cannot thank them enough for the care they provided, the updates, and life saving care they provided.

The team at Orchard Park is absolutely amazing. Our dog Chinook recently had cancer surgery here, and from start to finish, the care was exceptional. The staff were compassionate, professional, and went above and beyond to make us feel supported and informed. The surgical team did an incredible job, and our fur-baby is now recovering well thanks to their expertise. We are so grateful for their dedication and the love they show to both pets and our family. Chinook is also a medical service dog, and they understood how staying in a hospital away from us was very difficult for him. They took extra steps to reassure him and us. I'm truly grateful for their empathy and understanding. We came from Canada because of a very long wait time to get into oncology. Our speciality vet care is just as bad as our human health care in terms of wait times. The decision to drive over the border was the right one, and we know Chinook is well cared for with a team of outstanding people around him. Thank you very much to everyone at the hospital. Each one of you showed us love and helped us through the worst time in our lives. As a fur-baby parent, I know we were scared and emotional, and you were able to feel our pain and guide us through with comfort and understanding. You were our rocks, and we will never forget how you changed our lives and validated our intense feelings. 💕🙏🏻 You make this world better. Highly recommend! 🐶💙

My animals have been patients here for a long time. Where the Northwest Savings bank now is was a home and it was mine 3 doors down. They been there for me through the worst of times, loss of my beloved dog and just my family vet for decades. They go above and beyond, my current dog a BIG Mastiiff rescue can be reactive if dogs jump or show too my excitement due to past trauma. They moved people and their pets around the entire waiting area to accommodate me. They also checked me out in the exam room, and again made sure my path out was clear.

It was like going to a well established people’s hospital: the staff was attentive and our dog, Ginger, was assessed immediately. Every staff member was compassionate and knowledgeable. Dr. Leissenfeld had a great bedside manner and Savannah, Kaitlyn, and Paige were awesome. I would recommend this hospital to anyone.

Our male cat was showing symptoms of a possible urinary blockage. We live 2 hours away, but headed for this clinic without any real idea of the care they could provide. Luckily, our male cat peed at the clinic (go figure)! Their team set us up with medicine and a new food plan and we were on our way. We are so thankful for this resource and for treating our dear Mr. Pandy with love and respect.

The care my dog Chanel received at Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center was beyond excellent. Everyone at Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center treated my dog Chanel with the best possible care. Every single person we met from the Vets to the Vet Techs to the Front Desk Workers were friendly, kind, empathetic and knowledgeable. I truly cannot thank OPVMC enough for saving my dog Chanel’s life. Thank you OPVMC for providing Chanel with the best possible 24/7 care in the ICU, and treating her with the same care, compassion and consideration as you would your own pet. The days Chanel spent in the hospital were the hardest days of my life and the vets and vet techs eased my mind with their immense knowledge and empathy. Your team went above and beyond and I will never forget all you have done for us. I could not be more grateful. A special thank you to Dr. Mandy Liesenfeld And Dr. Victoria Krolczyk who diagnosed Chanel and provided her with the best possible care while in the ICU. I would definitely recommend this Veterinary office and appreciate all you have done for Chanel.

We were out of state travelers on vacation. Naturally our first day of vacation was when my pug had a mishap during hiking with me. We arrived and staff were super friendly from check in to discharge. The price for the exam is comparable to what we would have had to pay at an ER vet in Indiana. The wait wasn't too bad at all given the circumstances. There were animals there already and they gave us a 1-3 hr approx wait time. I didn't time it to see how long we were actually there but given the fact it was a walk in, unexpected visit I think the timing was fine. I'm thankful they didn't get multiple emergencies in while we were there. My pug was seen by the vet who was also very nice and handled my pug with care. We got the antibiotic I wanted for her and we went on our way! Hope we don't ever have to use another ER vet but if we do and we are in this area, we would definitely go back there.

My soul dog had sudden symtpoms of GDV/Bloat (we did not know for sure what was going on) late Friday night into Saturday in January. I rushed her to OPVMC and they took her back immediately. With not so good news, they gave me all possible options to consider. I knew it was going to cost me more than I could afford but she is was and is worth every penny. The Vets and Vet Techs were so amazing with her. Any time I called or they called me with an update I felt at ease knowing she was progressing how they had hoped for. Each of her Vets she was under care of, answered any and every question I had. It was so hard for me to leave her there while she recieved treatment but they assured me she was in the best hands. They were able to get her stable enough to bring her home a little under 48 hours later. I was able to call our regular vet the next morning and was able to get her for immediate surgery. With my girl being 11.5 y/o, I was so concerned about the stress this may have brought her and how recovering from surgery would take twice as long. They gave me postive reinforcement I was doing the right thing. If it wasn't for me being a hellicopter dog mom, OPVMCs fast acting to bring her back, and give her the thorough care and necessary treatment... I don't think we would have had the positive outcome we ended up with. Thankful!

Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center is incredible. We had a mouse poison emergency early on a Saturday morning and they were responsive, fast, kind, and cared about my dog as much as I do. If they were closer to where I live, they’d be my primary vet. I will use them for all future emergencies, but I really hope I don’t have to.

I can't say enough amazing things about the staff here. My dog needed to receive end of life care. I called before coming in and when I got there they immediately came out and comforted him. From the receptionist to the tech team and Dr. Thank you so.much for helping me and my fiancé through this difficult process. Baxter was in the best hands and I couldn't have been more grateful to the whole team today. Thank you all for being literal angels on earth.

We brought in our 12 week old puppy for an Emergency at 8 PM and couldn’t be happier with the team! They did a great job communicating what treatment was needed, expectations, costs, and kept us well informed during her entire hospitalization. Had to drive over an hour and a half to get here but team was top notch! THANK YOU!
